Join Dr. Andrew Nicholls in an exploration of popular understandings of plague and pandemics across the span of four centuries.

About the Speaker:
Andrew Nicholls was born and raised in Midland, Ontario. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Victoria College, University of Toronto, and his Masters and Ph.D. from the University of Guelph.
Dr. Nicholls has taught at Buffalo State College since 1996 where he is now Professor of History and Chair of the Department of History and Social Studies Education. His primary teaching and research interests centre on Early Modern British History, Canadian History, and the History of the First World War. He is the author of A Fleeting Empire: Early Stuart Britain and the Merchant Adventurers to Canada; The Jacobean Union: A Reconsideration of British Civil Policies under the Early Stuarts; co-author of After the Fire: Ste. Marie-among the Hurons since 1649, and has published numerous articles and reviews in the United States, Canada and Great Britain.
