Join us on Zoom for a virtual talk with Dr. Steve MacMartin of Medaille College on planning for the continuity of operations during widespread catastrophic events. This hour-long program will focus on approaches for individuals and small business owners, and includes a period for audience-driven Q&A. About the Speaker:

Dr. Steven MacMartin is a clinical assistant professor and director of the Medaille College Bachelor's and Master’s degree programs in Homeland Security.  Professor MacMartin retired in July of 2011 as a Senior Special Agent/National Program Manager with the United States Department of Homeland Security after a 31-year career. 

 

Professor MacMartin has a wide range of experience, from arresting terrorists, to working as a United Nations Sanctions Assistance Monitor, and for two months immediately following 9/11, Professor MacMartin participated in the World Trade Center Recovery Effort.  He is a former certified computer forensic examiner, a former firearms instructor, and a former tactical team member. 

 

Professor MacMartin received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education from St. Lawrence University, a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Medaille College, and a Doctorate in Business Administration and Global Leadership from California Intercontinental University.
